OUR TOWN

OUR FUTURE

Woodbury Roots, Woodbury Values

I'm running for Woodbury Town Council because I love our community and want it to thrive now and forever.

Now more than ever, we all need to work together for our community. As your Town Councilwoman, I will fight for you, your family, and the community we love so much.

ABOUT ME

I am a public servant, an organizer, and a regional planner running to serve the community that raised me.

I was born and raised in Woodbury with roots going back four generations. I learned to swim at Rez and picked blueberries at Ace Farm. My parents, both union members, instilled in me the importance of hard work and service from an early age, values I live by every day.

I'm a proud Monroe-Woodbury graduate. Thanks to the help of scholarships from local organizations, I was able to attend Bryn Mawr College where I studied city planning and political science. After graduating, I decided to return home to serve the community that has given me such a strong foundation and pay it forward to the next generation.

EXPERIENCE

I am deeply connected to this community and have the experience to help lead it, with a decade of service in local and state government and public service.

After graduating, I served as a Policy Advisor for Economic Development for New York State where I managed major cross-agency economic development and procurement programs and oversaw components of a $100 Million budget.

I have remained an active member of our community for years, serving as Co-Chair of the Woodbury Land Preservation Committee and as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals.

For many years I interned in James Skoufis’ District Office where I assisted with constituent casework. I am also a member of the Junior League of Orange County, a volunteer union organizer, and a lifetime Girl Scout.

I believe that when we work together, we win. Our residents are past the days of partisanship hindering our community's progress. Now is the time to work together to build a strong, prosperous future for our community by making our government more transparent, continuing to build a strong relationship with our Village Board, expanding programming for all ages, protecting our environment, and supporting our small businesses and arts community.

I take the term “public servant” literally.

As your Town Councilwoman, your family’s needs and quality of life will be my priority.
